Let us introduce you to our member of the month for May 2025…

Hey Jordanna!

Tell us a little bit about you!

I’m Jordanna, most people call me Jord.

I am 29, a Capricorn and an auntie to the most dinosaur crazy nephew who is just obsessed with nails as I am.

I am a Bristolian, a lover of colour, Disney, movies, food, a dog lover and I love pottery painting.

I had a passion for childcare and was in the field for 11 years and never looked past that until after my nail course.

I really enjoy city walks, good coffee and a sweet treat! 

How did you get into nails?

I have always loved painting my nails, Barry M was my holy grail!

I loved getting my nails done and creating colour combos that may be odd to some but they just worked in my head.

One of my close friends is a nail tech and she suggested to me about booking a course.

I didn’t really see this as a career I would ever want, let alone be where I am today.

But I booked the course and it was honestly the best decision I have made.

5 years later, the experiences I have had, have been life changing for me and created opportunities that were once pictures or words on a vision board. 

What’s your fave thing about The Nail Tech Org?

There isn’t any judgement, no matter how active you are on the platform, there is always a space to come back to, no matter what and I love that!

I love the friendships I’ve made, it feels like you’ve known everyone for years and those kinds of friendships are hard to come by! 

What’s your favourite course you’ve done with us?

Builder gel breakthrough course and the butterfly nail art course. 

What are your favourite kind of nails to do?

This is a hard one as this does tend to change.

I was a massive lover of nail art once but tend to keep my nails pretty basic.

But I love nail art on my clients who are nail art lovers. 

Tell us about a holy grail product in your kit.

How can I choose! But if I had to, it would definitely be Glossy Top from Glossify!

Who is your dream client?

The England football team lol!
