Hello Calli-Mae, from @st3vens_nails

Tell us a little bit about you!

Hello my name is Calli-Mae, I’ve recently started in this industry and I’m loving everything about it, I’ve always been inspired by beauty!

I’m a very creative person and love anything to do with art.

I love travelling too and I would love to eventually work while travelling!

How did you get into nails?

I’ve always had a passion towards the beauty industry, however I always had done my own nails with gel polish at home.

After going through a difficult time mentally, I managed to start creating nail art on sample sticks as a motivational boost and it just came to me that I wanted to start doing nails properly.

I started on family and friends and to this day I’m still building a supportive clientele.

What’s your fave thing about The Nail Tech Org?

There are many qualities to The Nail Tech Org, however my most favourite things are the support from all the people who are part of the community and the help and guidance that everyone provides.

Also all the many fantastic courses which are available to really broaden my skills and knowledge about products and marketing.

What’s your favourite course you’ve done with us?

Out of the courses I have completed so far I must say that ‘Clouds’ and ‘Butterflies’ have been my favourite.

They taught me different techniques that can come in so handy when doing nail art for a client!

All the courses are well structured and include very important demonstrations which will help you visually learn in your own time.

What are your favourite kind of nails to do?

My favourite nails to do would be Biab nails with any designs. I have enjoyed mastering the perfect French too! But I’m a lover of designs.

Tell us about a holy grail product in your kit.

I have two products which I will always have around me when doing nails, that is ‘Nude’ Naturabuild by Glossify andBiab 19 by The Gel Bottle Inc!

The shades are so beautiful for that natural nude colour as a base!

The products are so smooth and easy to work with.

And ‘Daisy’ Studio Gel by The Gel Bottle Inc which is the perfect colour for that classic French tip!
