Let us introduce you to our final member of the month for 2024…

Hey Eve, from @_beauty.byeve_!

Tell us a little bit about you!

Hey! I’m Eve from Droitwich, Worcestershire.

I have been in the beauty industry for 18 months now…pretty new to the beauty world really when I think about it!

When I am not enhancing my clients natural beauty, I spend time with my incredible partner, friends and family.

But anyone in the industry knows this can be a rare occasion when your trying to build your business.

How did you get into nails?

It has always been an industry I wanted to get into from school, but was always told ‘it’s not a real job, you can’t earn money doing it, or you’re more academic than that’.

So, I ended up managing a petrol station at 18, then being a wedding planner for 6 years and then working in construction (where I met my partner).

Only to realise that life is too short to do something you aren’t passionate about. Don’t get me wrong, working for my partner was amazing (best boss ever…LOL) but it wasn’t me.

I decided to attend a training academy to get my qualifications in Gel & BIAB application, E-file, Brow and Lash treatments and practiced on my family after work.

After a few months I started advertising and gained a few evening clients.

After nearly a year of this I spoke to my partner/Boss and he encouraged me to take the leap and just go full-time. 

6 months has passed and I couldn’t imagine my life any other way!

What’s your fave thing about The Nail Tech Org?

Choosing a favourite thing is impossible…but a few:

-The community feel 

-Monday morning calls

-The support & guidance from the NTO team

-The friendships made after attending the NTO events & calls 

What’s your favourite course you’ve done with us?

I had 1 to 1 mentoring with Chloe which has changed the game for me!

The techniques she taught me, the hints and tips she gave me and the encouragement has really helped me progress.

My clients have noticed a difference in retention & my application has been flawless ever since.

I would highly recommend anyone looking to better their skills to go see Chloe for a few hours and you will come out the best version of you!

What are your favourite kind of nails to do?

I have always loved a plain colour (Red, Merlot, Velvet Red) but my new favourite is a sparkly French Tip! 

Anyone who knows…knows I used to HATE French lol!  

Tell us about a holy grail product in your kit.

Dolly BIAB!

I am obsessed with this product and go through so many bottles!

But also my branded cuticle oil is a firm second place which I think my clients are bored stiff of me talking about.

Who is your dream client?

I am going to have to say Amy! It might sound Cliche, but I would love too!
