Hello @byjade____ !

Tell us a little bit about you!

My name is Jade, and I’m 25! I’ve been a Beautician for 4 years, doing Lashes, Brows and most recently nails on clients.

I started in a salon but now work from a beauty cabin in my garden!

I have recently started making content of my own nails for social media which I am loving.

How did you get into nails?

I have loved nails since I was little to be honest – I used to beg my mums friends to let me do their nails when they came round, and if their little girls had birthday parties I would set up in the corner and they’d line up for their nails to be painted.

Then I started doing nail art on myself for fun and did my sisters nails for prom… So when I wasn’t happy in my job anymore my mum suggested I do beauty, and I’ve never looked back!

What’s your fave thing about The Nail Tech Org?

My fave thing about nto is just feeling seen and having my work really appreciated by people who share my passion for it!

Everyone is so lovely and positive.

Working on your own can be lonely compared to being in a salon with other techs so having people to talk to in the group is really helpful!

What’s your favourite course

I love all of the courses, the builder gel ones were amazing for me when I was learning, everything is explained so clearly!

But my fave nail art tutorial would have to be Suzanne’s Bunny Ears tutorial back at Easter time, it was so cute but classy.

What are your favourite kind of nails to do?

Picking my fave nails is a hard one, but it’s no secret that I love PINK 💗.

And anything cute like flowers, hearts etc. is a win for me!

I’m also a big lover of funky designs, colourful swirls etc., they can be so simple to do, but so effective!

Tell us about a holy grail product in your kit.

My holy grail product for doing my own nails would have to be the Holo Taco peely base, as it allows me to create nail looks as often as I like and then it’s really satisfying to peel it off! 

But I also couldn’t live without my yin and yang nail art brushes from The Doll’s House Cosmetics!

Before I got them I would struggle with cleaning up when I made a mistake/being really precise with my art, so they are a game changer and made me much more confident doing certain designs!

If you could sum up The Nail Tech Org in just 3 words, what would they be?

Supportive, fun, and creative!
