Hello Gracie, from @gels.bygracie!

Tell us a little bit about you!

Hello my name is Gracie and I’m from Portsmouth. I joined the NTO a few months into my nail journey as I have only been doing nails since January this year.

I am still learning new things everyday which I absolutely love.

Before becoming a Nail Artist I was a fashion student in London, so all things colours, patterns and designs I had an eye for and love to put this into my work. 

How did you get into nails?

I have always had a passion for the fashion/beauty industry, I always loved doing my nails or going to get them done, it was my treat.

I was going through a difficult time at work and decided it was time to start something new.

I did my nail course, left my job and to this day I have been working so hard to build clientele and build my business.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have the most support family & friends through this journey and I definitely would not of done it without them! 

What’s your fave thing about The Nail Tech Org?

My favourite thing about the NTO is definitely the community.

Everyone comes together supporting each other with no judgement, any question you have someone is there to answer.

Also the courses have also helped me broaden my skills massively, at the start I struggled with nail art and intricate work, by watching the step by step videos it broke down for me what I needed to do, which helped me a lot. 

What’s your favourite course you’ve done with us?

Out of all the courses I have completed so far I would say my favourites would be Butterflies, Flames and introducing me to Biosculpture & Evo. 

All the NTO courses are presented perfectly and include very helpful tips and tricks to make nail art quicker. 

What are your favourite kind of nails to do?

My favourite nails to do would be Builder Gel with a French Tip!

From when I first started to now perfecting a French Tip has been hard but again I used the resources I have and mastered them.  

French Tips are everyone’s favourite aswell! 

Tell us about a holy grail product in your kit.

I’m a Glossify girl, most my products are solely Glossify so my holy grail product would definitely be the Naturabuild in Pink or Nude.

I love the finish on all their products and it leaves the nail looking natural and strong.

I’m also a girl for bright colours, Fire and Hot Pink are my favourites.

However I am now expanding to Biosculpture & Evo and my favourite product from there is the Base Gel, it’s just perfect for everything. 

If you could sum up The Nail Tech Org in just 3 words, what would they be?

If I had to sum up The Nail Tech Org it would be educational, inspiring and supportive.
