5 Nail Trends You Need To Try in 2024

With every new year comes a fresh new set of trends. And the only ones we’re interested in are the ones we’re wearing on our nails. Here at the Nail Tech Org it’s basically our job at this point to help you keep up with the latest and greatest of all things nails, and *spoiler alert* you’re in for a treat this 2024.
We’ve done some digging, spoke to some experts and rounded up our favourite trending nail art looks, that are set to take over the year 2024. So sick back, scroll, and get a head start on the trends this year, that you can start painting on both your nails and your clients.
Glassy Nails
This year we’re vibing with all the sheer, glassy, dewy nail designs. Simple but oh-so chic, this trend literally looks good on every one, so expect to see a lot of it on your feeds this year. Think your-nails-but-better sheer pinks, jelly bean peach tones and lots of silky, uber-shiny top coat with this one.Â
Balletcore Bows
Thought we were leaving bows back in Christmas ’23? Not on our watch. Embracing all things ballet core, we’re seeing everything from mini silver chrome bows to pearly full-coverage bows with this feminine trend, and we’re loving them all.
Red
The colour of Christmas, the colour of love and the colour we just can’t get enough of. Red has done the rounds once again and has landed straight in our trending list for 2024. From bright cherry tones to darker, autumnal shades, red is always a clear winner for us- and the trends agree this year.Â

Cat EyeÂ
Cat eye and magnetic velvet nails (achieved by magnetic nail polish) are set to take centre stage this year. We’re used to seeing them in the autumn and winter in dark tones like forest green, burgundy and silver, but this time we’re going to be seeing it on fresh spring shades. Think seafoam green, pastel pink and icy lavender. Â
Chocolate Milk Nails
Is there anything that nails can’t be inspired by? At the minute, searches for ‘Chocolate Milk Nails’ are up a staggering 1350%, and we have a feeling it might be inspired by a certain film, all about chocolate, that has hit the cinemas. Either way, we don’t need an excuse to paint our nails a smooth shade of buttery milk chocolate, but if we did- you’re looking at it right here.
