When I decided I wanted to become an educator, I assumed there'd be a course made specifically for nail techs. There wasn't. I ended up on a generic teaching qualification with people training to teach everything from yoga to swimming. They were lovely, but nobody understood our industry.

I left with a certificate thinking, "what now?" Nobody had shown me how to actually become a nail educator. How to structure a training day. What to include in a student kit. How to price my courses. How to know I was teaching the right things. How to get my first students.

When can I start, and how long does it take?
You're placed on the next intake automatically, no start date to pick. Enrol on the 1st and you begin that same day; enrol any other day and your place is booked for the 1st of the following month. Every course runs twelve weeks, built to fit around a full client base, so you go at your pace.
Can I change my start month?
Of course. If you'd rather begin a different month, simply drop us an email at least 7 working days before your start date and we'll move it for you.
What happens between enrolling and my start date?
You get straight into the community, so you can meet the other educators and settle in. Your Welcome Box is posted out and your course access opens on the 1st, the day your twelve weeks begin.
Do I need teaching experience already?
No. You need to be a skilled, practising nail tech. This takes you from where you are now to a globally recognised certification, equivalent to a Level 3 Award in Education and Training, ready to insure and teach.
Is it properly recognised?
Yes. Globally recognised and equivalent to a Level 3 AET, so you can get your presenting insurance and start straight away. Our approval body has called it the best education they've seen.
Who teaches it?
Amy, and our educator team, with over 40 years in the nail industry between us. Chloe, one of our senior educators, leads your live classes. You're supported all the way, never left to work it out alone.
Can I split the cost?
Yes. You can pay in full, or choose the flexible monthly plan spread across 6 payments. It's a payment plan rather than a discount, so the monthly option works out a little more than paying in full overall, but it lets you spread the cost. Either way, you get full access from your start date.
What if I'm not ready to teach the moment I certify?
No problem. You teach on your timeline. Plenty of our educators start with a day or two a month and grow from there. It's all yours to use whenever you're ready.
How's this different from a generic teaching course?
A generic course treats nails as an afterthought. You get two full curriculums here. Everything a standard qualification covers, plus a second one on how to actually do it in our industry. The real things nobody else teaches.
