Hello Charlotte, from @_moxie.nails!

Tell us a little bit about you!

I’m Charlotte, I’m 30 and I live in York with my partner and two boys who are 6 and 4. Oh and I can’t forget the pooch, our cocker spaniel puppy, Milo.

I have ADHD and also have a huge passion for social justice and equality, so I put inclusivity at the heart of everything I do.

Offering a safe space for clients from minority groups is my main priority.

How did you get into nails?

I originally did a course to get better at doing my own nails, then last summer I ended up getting signed off from my job with stress.

I was having quite a difficult time with my mental health and doing nails just became this escape that I threw myself into.

Honestly it was basically my version of therapy haha!

I’ve been building my business as a mobile nail tech ever since and have just branched out into making custom press on nails too. I’m absolutely loving it!

What’s your fave thing about The Nail Tech Org?

I don’t think I can choose one thing! For someone who used to think they had zero creative ability, the huge collection of nail art tutorials has been invaluable.

But the life coaching masterclasses with Claire have genuinely changed my life, combined with the incredible support network all of the members offer each other.

What’s your favourite course you’ve done with us?

I’ve been kept busy working through all of the brilliant tutorials so far, but I’m determined to enrol on The Expert Experience at some point this year.
