Hello Tracey, from @thebeautyspotmorley.

Tell us a little bit about you!

Hi I’m Tracey,  I’m 48 and based in Morley, Leeds!  I live with my partner Karl and have two sons Sammie 18 and Louie 16.

Ive had my home based salon for 15 years and do a wide variety of beauty treatments but my passion is nails and I have an amazing client list of all ages and preferences. 

We have a motorhome and love to be away in it as and when we can, it’s a home away from home and I do usually take my nail stuff with me just in case…

How did you get into nails?

I trained with CND 23 years ago, back then it was Creative Nail Design in acrylics and was mobile.

I don’t offer acrylics anymore, I do BIAB, gel over lays, CND Shellac,  Nail Order full tip Xtensions and Footlogix Medical Grade Pedicures. 

What’s your fave thing about The Nail Tech Org?

I love all things about the TNTO!

I especially love the tutorials which are so easy to follow and show you that you don’t always get things right first time by some of the bloopers on the videos which makes it real and more forgiving. 

The community is like an extended family everyone has everyone else’s back with lots of tips, advice and encouragement. 

The NTO team are always on hand for expert advice as and when needed and are real people not just a name or face of the brand the NTO team are there for you!! 

What’s your favourite course you’ve done with us?

I havnt done a course as of yet, I’ve been working my way through the ever expanding nail tutorials as well as all the multiple other courses.  

There is so much information within the NTO app/website it can be quite over whelming but amazing at the same time.  

I am wanting to do the NTO Expert Experience and then maybe the Eduction Elevation.

I just love to learn I’m like a sponge and always want to do better.

What are your favourite kind of nails to do?

I love to be pushed outside my comfort zone and will give anything a try.

I love nail art but I’m a perfectionist and am never truly happy always thinking I can do better (which isn’t a bad thing).

I’m currently trying to master the ombre look but I do love French and Animal Print nails. 

Tell us about a holy grail product in your kit.

I have two!

My Willow efile which I also use for mani/pedis cuticle work and skin removal on heels (I have so many different attachments for it, it’s crazy) as well as removal of BIAB/Gel nails.

My second is my Brillbird 0 Long Liner Brush which I use on every set of nails from going right up to the cuticle with the gel colour, to refining BIAB and all nail art.

I will admit I have 6 of them because I use them so much. 

If you could sum up The Nail Tech Org in just 3 words, what would they be?

My Happy Place.
