Hello Molly, from @beautystudiobymolls!

Tell us a little bit about you!

Hey! My name is Molly, I’m 23 and a small business owner of a salon in a small town in Co. Kerry on the west coast of Ireland, since September 2022.

I’m originally from Ireland but moved to Menorca in Spain when I was four years old and only moved back to Ireland in July 2022 after living and working in Spain for 18 years.

I also worked in a salon on the island next door, Mallorca, for a year and it was a great experience!

My clients know me as Molls and also the glitter fairy! As I like to add a sparkle on everyones nails.

How did you get into nails?

This is actually really random but, I’m also qualified as a carer and I used to always get my nails done by a lovely lady, only lockdown came and she decided to move back to her home town to be close to her family in Seville. I was really close to her and she always wanted me to get into the nail world and work for her.

So after 5 months of not being able to get my nails done, I started to consider what she always had been saying to me.

So I looked up courses and set off on a trip to Madrid in 2021 to qualify as a nail technician…and here I am today; owning my own nail business and happily living back in Ireland.

What’s your fave thing about The Nail Tech Org?

My favourite thing about NTO is the community.

When I set up on my own, I felt lonely because I was used to working in the salon with 5 other girls.

And as soon as I joined I felt so apart of the community that it brought back a spark and helped me to want to thrive even more in my business.

Also the wide range of tutorials on so many different things, from nail art to meditation.

What’s your favourite course you’ve done with us?

I have just signed up to complete the Expert Experience course and I can’t wait to see the difference in my business and work ethic.

What are your favourite kind of nails to do?

I love funky nails, but I absolutely love glittery nails!

So when I combine bot, they are my favourite kind of nails.

Tell us about a holy grail product in your kit.

This would definitely have to be my cuticle scissors. I just find them super precise to make sure you create a clean manicure. Oh, and my Avgerinos hand cream!
